Stainless Steel Tags

Our Stainless Steel tags are by far the most durable and better suited to highly active dogs and dogs that like to get wet and muddy! You can also engrave on both the front and back of this tag. Please don't include blank lines or spaces.  The preview may not reflect how the engraving will look. The engraving will be centred to best fit the tag shape.

How it Works

Ordering our tags couldn't be easier and involves only 3 simple steps.

Firstly, browse our wide range of dog tags and select the product (style, colour, size and material) you prefer.

Once you have chosen your design, select the number of lines you want to engrave on the tag.

Enter each line of engraving. There will be limits for each line to make sure the text is easy to read. Try to avoid unnecessary words. The more text you add, the smaller it will be.

Make sure to check the engraving carefully! Remember, it's a customised product that can't be changed or exchanged once engraved.

Check the shopping cart to make sure everything is correct. Think about buying a second pet tag for 25% off, or adding an eZeClip to your order. eZeClips make attaching and removing tags from collars super easy.

The final step is to checkout using our easy payment system with
payments included for Apple Pay, Debit Cards, Credit Cards, PayPal and more!

Frequently Asked Questions on Dog Tags

UK dog laws require that the owner's name, address (house number/name and postcode) should be included. Some trainers require the owner's name and full address (a stainless, brass or aluminium tag will allow for both sides to be engraved). We suggest avoiding unnecessary text such as “If I’m lost please call my mummy” or "Telephone", as the more characters and spaces you add, the smaller the engraving will be. For further information about what to engrave on a dog tag, check out our
blog post, what details should be on a dog tag?

The Control of Dogs Order of 1992 requires all dogs to wear an engraved collar or engraved dog tag if the dog is in a public
space.

All our tags are supplied with a strong steel split ring. You can also purchase an eZeClip to effortlessly attach and remove your new dog tag from the collar. Our full range of eZeClips are available from £4.00 and come in all colours to suit your tag choice. Please be careful not to attach the lead to the split ring or the eZeClip by mistake - this is the main cause of lost tags, which we do not replace free of charge.

Our strong steel split rings are the best on the market. Using a blunt knife can help. Learn how to attach our tags to the split ring and eZeClip by watching our latest video at the following URL:

If your tag fades or breaks in the first 5 years, we'll replace it free of charge. Check your tag from time to time and let us know if it is starting to wear away. We do not replace lost tags as this usually happens when the lead is attached to the tag by mistake.

We'll dispatch your order by first class post within 24 hours of receipt. Orders usually arrive the next working day, but Royal Mail advises that it may take up to 5 days for delivery, depending on delays at depots due to staff shortages. Royal Mail strikes mean that your order will not be posted on those days, and will result in a backlog, so expect delays during these times including for tracked and Special Delivery. Tracked postage will allow you to see the progress of delivery of your order.
